In addition to the factory test, the new power transformer shall be subject to on-site hanging core inspection before the installation is completed and put into operation;
Second: when the power transformer is shut down for more than half a year, the insulation resistance should be measured and the oil withstand voltage test should be done.
Third: The initial operation of power transformers shall be less than or equal to five full-voltage closing impact tests. After overhaul, power transformers shall be operated at 24Hz without abnormal load at less than or equal to three times before they can be put into load step by step. And make all records. The purpose is to check whether the insulation strength of the transformer can withstand the rated voltage or the operating overvoltage in operation, and also to assess the mechanical strength of the power transformer and the reliability of the relay protection action.
Fourth: the insulation resistance of newly installed power transformers and overhauled power transformers should not be lower than 70% of the manufacturer's test value at the same temperature.
Fifth: In order to improve the utilization rate of power transformers and reduce the loss, it is more reasonable when the load current of power transformers is 75% to 85% the rated current.
